Oregon State baseball is headed to the Super regionals once again after a dominant 9-0 victory over USC on Monday afternoon in the winner-take-all regional final in Corvallis.

The Beavers will host Florida State in the Super regionals this weekend. The winner of the best-of-three series goes to Omaha for the men’s College World Series.

Oregon State got off to an early lead with a run in the first inning, then added three more in the third inning with a two-run home run from Aiva Arquette followed by a solo shot from Gavin Turley. After a run in the fourth, Trent Carraway homered in the fifth inning to make it 6-0 Beavs. Carraway homered in all four games in the Corvallis regional for OSU. Jacob Krieg added a three-run dinger in the eighth to put the game out of reach for good.

After losing their regional opener to four-seed Saint Mary’s 6-4, Oregon State’s offense erupted over the next three days. The Beavers eliminated TCU with a 7-2 win on Saturday afternoon, then dominated in a pair of wins on Sunday to stave off elimination, 20-3 over Saint Mary’s and 14-1 over USC to set up Monday’s winner-take-all.

After losing to the Gaels, the Beavers outscored opponents 50-4 on their way to winning the regional.

The No. 8 national seed, Oregon State will host No. 9 seed Florida State this weekend, with the winner advancing to the College World Series in Omaha.
