TOUMANI CAMARA SELECTED TO NBA ALL-DEFENSIVE SECOND TEAM

PORTLAND, Ore. (May 22, 2025) The NBA announced today that Trail Blazers forward Toumani Camara has been named to the 2024-25 NBA All-Defensive Second Team.

Camara is the first Trail Blazer to earn All-Defensive Team honors since Theo Ratliff in 2003-04 and the 15th such selection in the team’s history.

Competing in just his second NBA season in 2024-25, Camara established himself as one of the league’s premier defenders during his sophomore campaign, leading the entire league in offensive fouls drawn (90) and charges drawn (31) while ranking second in total defensive stops (257).

Camara’s 31 drawn charges over the course of the season were nine more than the next closest player and a higher output than 21 NBA teams’ season-long team total of drawn charges. His 90 offensive fouls drawn were 34 more than any other player.

Named February’s Western Conference Defensive Player of the Month, Camara totaled 116 steals, 277 defensive rebounds and 50 blocks during the 2024-25 campaign—one of only four players in the NBA to reach those marks over the course of the season and the first Trail Blazer to do so since Clifford Robinson in 1993-94.

Camara’s 116 steals finished the season ranked ninth in the NBA, while his 62 games with at least one steal were tied for fourth most.
