Vancouver Restaurant Shooting Injures One
Vancouver, WA –Vancouver Police are investigating a shooting that happened late Friday afternoon around 4:30 pm. Officers responded to the incident on East Fourth Plain Blvd. near General Anderson Avenue.
An employee working at a restaurant in the area was shot by a man near the back of the business, and the suspect fled the scene on foot. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police are trying to locate and interview possible witnesses to determine an accurate description of the suspect.
Detectives from the Vancouver Police Department Crime Reduction Unit are continuing the investigation. Nothing further is being released at this time. There is not believed to be any danger to the general public.
