“Jeopardy!” Announcer, Johnny Gilbert, Turns 98
The announcer of “Jeopardy!” turns 98 today and is STILL DOING THE SHOW! About 8 years ago, he earned a Guinness World Record for being the longest-running announcer for a single game show ever at 32 years, 7 months, and 30 days. So safe to say he’s been continuing to blow that record out of the water each season!
He became the announcer for the show in 1984. Happy Birthday Johnny!
