Actor Sam Neill Passes Away at 78
Family, friends and Hollywood are mourning the “sudden and unexpected” loss of actor Sam Neill, most famous for his role in “Jurassic Park”. Neill previously had battled a rare form of blood cancer, but died July 13 “surrounded by family and passed with the dignity that has characterized his whole life.” “The loss was sudden and unexpected but blessed by the fact that Sam remained cancer free.”
Neill was diagnosed with angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma, stage 3 blood cancer, in 2022, and announced he was cancer free earlier this year. He is survived by his four kids and eight grandchildren.
