Trail Blazers Trade Anfernee Simons, Picks To Boston For Jrue Holiday

Per multiple reports, the Trail Blazers agreed to a trade with the Boston Celtics late Monday night, just under 48 hours from the start of the NBA Draft.

Portland is sending Anfernee Simons to Boston along with multiple second-round picks for Jrue Holiday.

Holiday comes to Portland for the second time after the Blazers acquired him from Milwaukee in September 2023 as part of the Damian Lillard trade. But the Blazers in turn dealt Holiday to Boston before the season as part of acquiring Malcolm Brogdon and Robert Williams III and a first-round pick.

Simons was entering the final year of his contract, while Holiday has two years remaining on his deal.
