Nate Bittle Announces Return To Oregon For Final Season, Withdraws From NBA Draft

Oregon men’s basketball received good news Tuesday as star big man Nate Bittle announced his decision to withdraw from this year’s NBA Draft and return to Eugene for a fifth and final season of collegiate eligibility.
Bittle received an extra year of eligibility from the NCAA after injuries and illness took large parts of his collegiate career away from him at Oregon. After initially declaring for the NBA Draft on April 1st, Bittle was not invited to the NBA Draft combine, and will now come back to the Ducks.
Oregon will also return key contributors in Jackson Shelstad and Kwame Evans, Jr. to a lineup that went to the second round of the NCAA Tournament last season.
Bittle posted averages of 14.2 points and 7.6 rebounds in 35 games played, all collegiate career bests, last year.
