Washington Huskies Flip Oregon Ducks Commit, 5-Star OT Kodi Greene

Jedd Fisch got a recruiting win over Dan Lanning on Thursday as five-star offensive tackle Kodi Greene, an Oregon Ducks commit, decided to back out of his commitment to UO and commit to their rivals.

Greene is 6-foot-6 and 290 pounds and will be a senior this fall at Mater Dei in southern California. Notably, Greene is originally from Sammamish, Wash., and played his first two years of high school football at Eastside Catholic High School outside of Seattle. His older brother, Kayden Greene, is a second-year safety with the Huskies currently.

Greene is a five-star recruit per On3 Sports, the fourth-highest ranked offensive tackle in the nation and No. 23 overall ranked prospect. ESPN300’s rankings have him a little lower as a four-star prospect, the No. 37 overall ranked prospect in the class of 2026 and the fifth-highest ranked tackle.
