The Blazers took advantage of a Memphis Grizzlies team playing without Ja Morant, and earned a third straight win, 115-99.

Deni Avdija led the way for Portland with 31 points with 16 rebounds an 8 assists as well as 2 blocks.

Portland connected on 18 of 46 three-point attempts (39.1%). Scoot Henderson and Anfernee Simons combined to go 3-for-16 from beyond the arc, while the rest of the team combined to 15-for-30 (50%).

The Blazers (31-39) move within two games of the final play-in spot in the West, now held by the Phoenix Suns (33-37) who have the tiebreak with identical overall record as the plunging Dallas Mavericks.

Portland has three games left on their current 7-game homestand, and it continues Friday night hosting Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets. The reigning-champion Boston Celtics are next in town on Sunday afternoon followed by the East-leading Cleveland Cavaliers next Tuesday.

After that, Portland goes on the road for six of their final nine regular season games, including a five-game road trip.
