PORTLAND, Ore. (March 19, 2025) – The Portland Trail Blazers have announced a special night later this month to honor the iconic early 90’s teams that took the franchise to the NBA Finals. On March 21, when the team takes on the Denver Nuggets, the organization is paying homage to some of the memorable teams and moments that powered the passion of Rip City. Join us for a celebration of the amazing ’90 & ’92 NBA Finals Teams. Rock your 90s fits, dig up some old photos and gear, and join us for the special night. Members of both teams will be in attendance and receive special recognition at halftime. Throughout the night, tribute videos for each team will play throughout the arena, bringing back memories of iconic victories and big plays. Graphics throughout the arena and game broadcast will have classic 90s flare, and a special 90’s snapchat filter will be available to fans.
Fans will receive collectible placards upon entry to Moda Center featuring the 89-90 & 91-92 official team photos and will be serenaded throughout the concourse with a live DJ playing favorite hits from the 1990s. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite 90s Blazers gear to the game and visit Entry A18 to capture a special photo in the 360 Photo Booth to show off their fit to friends and family. Rip City Clothing will have a specially curated collection of early 90s vibe Trail Blazers gear at Entry A25.
