Oregon Pulls Away From Indiana 72-59, Advance To Big Ten Tournament Quarterfinals

The Oregon Ducks came away with a solid victory Thursday at the Big Ten Tournament, defeating Indiana in the second round 72-59 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
The No. 8-seed Ducks won their eight consecutive game. They will next play Friday in the quarterfinals against top-seed Michigan State at 9:00 a.m.
Jackson Shelstad led the way with 18 points for the Ducks while TJ Bamba had a impactful game with 17 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the floor. Brandon Angel had 14 points.
Oregon led 37-29 at half, but Indiana trimmed the deficit to one at 41-40 with over 15 minutes left. A three-pointer from Jadrian Tracey made it a 59-54 Ducks lead with 6:32 to go, and Oregon pulled away from there.
