Week 5 is here. Conference play is in full swing. We have a growing sample size from the college football teams and some valuable data. I’m eager to see if the matchups play out on the field this week like I expect.

How will Washington fare on the road on a Friday night game played about as far away from Seattle as the Huskies can get? What about Stanford? Can it stay within three touchdowns of Clemson? And am I a fool for continuing to believe in USC?

Oregon-UCLA?

Georgia-Alabama?

Washington State-Boise State?

I went 5-6 against the spread last week. My record in predicting the games straight up was a modest 6-5. It was easily my worst week of the season. I am determined to post a solid bounce-back performance.
