Oregon Ducks Softball To Host NCAA Regional This Weekend

Oregon softball was not sure they would be among the sixteen regional hosts for the NCAA Tournament, but Sunday’s unveiling produced Oregon as the No. 16 overall seed, right on the hosting line.

Coming to Eugene will be regional No. 2 seed Stanford, No. 3 Binghamton, and No. 4 Weber State.

Oregon opens their regional on Friday night against Weber State at 7:30 p.m. on ESPN+. It is preceded by Stanford-Binghamton at 5:00 p.m.

Game 1: Weber State vs. No. 16 Oregon, 7:30 p.m., ESPN+
Game 2: Binghamton vs. Stanford, 5 p.m., ESPN+

Saturday
Game 3: Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2
Game 4: Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2
Game 5: Winner Game 4 vs. Loser Game 3

Sunday
Game 6: Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 5
Game 7 (if necessary): Rematch Game 6

The top three national seeds in this year’s field are Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Florida.

The SEC has nine regional hosts and fourteen overall teams in this year’s field, a tournament record for a single conference.

The Super Regionals are the following weekend May 22-25.

The eight-team Women’s College World Series is set for May 29-June 6 from Oklahoma City.
