The Mariners took Thursday’s rubber game in Boston, 4-3 over the Red Sox, to win their fifth consecutive series.
Since being swept in San Francisco, the Mariners have won 11 of their last 15 games, and are now 14-11 overall.
Bryan Woo improved to 3-1 on the year after getting the victory with six innings of three-hit, two-run ball, striking out eight.
Mitch Garver got the scoring started early for the M’s with a two-run double in the first inning. They added their other two runs in the second inning with a little small-ball, a sac-fly from Dylan Moore and RBI groundout by Julio Rodriguez.
Seattle wraps up their 9-game road trip with a 6-3 mark and return to T Mobile Park for a five-game homestand that begins Friday night against the Miami Marlins.
