Beavs, Ducks Baseball Fall In Latest D1Baseball.com Top 25

Both Oregon State and Oregon had a tough weekend of college baseball, and as a result both programs slipped in Monday’s latest Top 25 from D1Baseball.com.
Oregon State played a three-game series at Nebraska and dropped two of three to the Huskers. The Beavs dropped the opener on Friday 7-3, took the Saturday contest 16-5 but lost Sunday’s rubber game 16-7. Oregon State dropped from No. 5 to No. 11 in the D1Baseball.com Top 25.
Oregon played a three-game Big Ten Conference series at Ohio State and won the opener in dominant fashion 7-0 but lost both games of a doubleheader on Saturday 11-10 and 8-6. The Ducks dropped from No. 10 to No. 15 in the poll.
Oregon (20-7, 8-4 Big Ten) comes to Portland to take on the Pilots on Wednesday night at Joe Etzel Field. Then, Oregon hops on another flight to visit the Michigan Wolverines in Ann Arbor for a weekend Big Ten series.
Oregon State (20-6 overall) continues their season as an independent on Friday when they welcome UC Irvine for a weekend series at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field. UC Irvine has moved up to No. 12 in the D1Baseball.com Top 25 after a 21-5 start.
