The Blazers got a second win in as many nights Monday, topping the last-place Washington Wizards at Moda Center, 112-97.
Anfernee Simons led the way with 30 points, including 5-for-11 from three. Portland led 59-49 at halftime and increased the lead to 89-70 entering the fourth quarter, leading by as many as 24 in the game.
At 30-39 overall, Portland moves within three games of Dallas for the last play-in spot in the West, while Phoenix remains one game back.
The Blazers continue their homestand on Wednesday night hosting the Memphis Grizzlies.
