The Seahawks made another Friday afternoon splash with the reported signing of Cooper Kupp following the former All-Pro’s release from the Rams on Wednesday.

Around the same time a week prior, the news of Seattle’s deal with the Raiders that sent quarterback Geno Smith to Las Vegas became public. It was followed by the trade of DK Metcalf to Pittsburgh on Sunday and the signing of new quarterback Sam Darnold on Monday.

Kupp joins Seattle on a three-year deal worth $45 Million, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The Yakima, Wash. native returns to his home state where he also starred at Eastern Washington University before the Rams selected him in the third round, sixty-nine overall, in the 2017 NFL Draft.

The former First Team All-Pro won the receiving triple crown in 2021 and also won Super Bowl MVP honors in Super Bowl 56 as the Rams beat the Bengals in SoFi Stadium.
