The Trail Blazers ultimately decided not to make a move this NBA trade deadline as Thursday’s noon marker came and went quietly in Portland.
General manager Joe Cronin made some post-deadline comments to the media ahead of Thursday’s game against Sacramento.
“I know a lot of fans and probably lot of people in here prefer a little bit of action,” Cronin said. “We do, too. We’re always looking for ways to participate in these windows and find guys that can help us be better. But this time around we just didn’t find the value, so we decided to pass.”
