Dario Zuparic On Scoring A Goal, Preseason Win On Talk Timbers

The Timbers got off to a good start at the Coachella Valley Invitational preseason tournament with a 2-1 win Wednesday over San Jose.
Dario Zuparic scored a header goal right before halftime to give Portland a 1-nil advantage. The Timbers made it 2-0 early in the second half before holding on for the 2-1 win.
Zuparic joined hosts Judah Newby and Jake Zivin on Wednesday night to talk about the preseason and scoring a goal on Talk Timbers (Wednesdays 6-7 p.m. on 750 The Game).
The Timbers continue preseason Saturday against Chicago Fire. They’ll play a couple more preseason games at Coachella next week before preparing for the regular season opener on Sunday, Feb. 23rd at Providence Park against the Vancouver Whitecaps.
