PORTLAND STATE COMPLETES 2025 SIGNING CLASS WITH 18 TOTAL NEWCOMERS
Portland State Football added seven more newcomers on National Signing Day bringing the total of new signees for 2025 to 18 for the Viking program. Included among the newcomers are five offensive linemen, three defensive linemen, two linebackers, five defensive backs, a running back and a quarterback.
There are 11 high schoolers and seven transfers in the group.
PSU has 80 returners from 2024, including both letterwinners and redshirts. There are 42 letterwinners and 59 players with game experience on the roster.
The NCAA portal opens again for a spring transfer period on April 16-25, at which time there will be more additions to the roster.

Lettered in football four times at East High School… named All-State twice and All-Region three times… as a senior, made 49 tackles, two sacks and recovered a fumble in nine games… as a junior had 91 tackles, one sack, an interception and a fumble recovery in 11 games… as a sophomore made 54 tackles with an interception in eight games… a four-year starter.

Son of Naa and Kapeliele Hausia… born August 6, 2004… has one sister, Latai… majoring in Kinesiology… hobbies are hiking, fishing, video games, working out, drawing, reading, trying new restaurants, and volunteering in his church and with youth football teams… would like to play professional football, coach or be an athletic trainer.

Spent two years at Hawai’i… was a redshirt in 2023… appeared in five games in 2024… completed four of seven passes for 42 yards and two interceptions.
Attended the Punahou School in Hawai’i… a three-star prospect by 247Sports and the #12 overall prospect in the state of Hawaii… was the ILH Open Division Offensive Player of the Year as a senior… threw for 2,384 yards and 25 touchdowns with seven interceptions… completed 67.3 percent of his passes and averaged 216.7 yards per game… led Punahou to the State Open Division runner-up finish… played in the 2023 Polynesian Bowl… in five games as a junior threw for 935 yards with seven touchdowns… as a freshman became the starter in the third game, throwing for 2,135 yards and 16 touchdowns… was named first team All-ILH and honorable mention All-Hawai’i…. also competed in track and field.
