Dante Moore Cracks Top-12 Of Early 2025 Heisman Odds

With the 2024 college football season concluded, eyes already have turned to next year. For Oregon, that presumably means handing the reigns of the offense over to Dante Moore.
The Ducks have produced finalists for the Heisman Trophy at the quarterback position two consecutive seasons in Bo Nix and Dillon Gabriel. Moore, who backed up Gabriel much of this past season after transferring from UCLA, is aiming to make it three in a row.
Receiver Tez Johnson already heaped praise on Moore in the lead-up to Oregon’s Rose Bowl game against Ohio State.
“He’ll be a Heisman finalist. 100 per cent. Next year,” Johnson said of the Ducks next QB.
Johnson won’t be around to help Moore accomplish that prediction as he’s headed to the NFL draft.
But BetOnline.ag release their early odds for the 2025 Heisman Trophy, and Moore’s name does appear, though not close to the betting favorites led by Texas quarterback Arch Manning.
Moore is listed as a 20-to-1 favorite, behind the likes of Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin and Miami quarterback Carson Beck (18-1), and ahead of Alabama receiver Ryan Williams (25-1).
Manning is the early favorite at 6-1, followed by LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier (9-1), Clemson quarterback Cade Klubnik and Ohio State receiver Jeremiah Smith (both 12-1).
The Ducks are coming off a 13-0 start to the season that included a Big Ten Conference championship, but finished with a whimper in the Rose Bowl against soon-to-be national champion Ohio State.
