Ducks Land Commitment From Former FSU, Bama WR Malik Benson

The Oregon Ducks got a welcome addition to their 2025 offensive roster as former Florida State and Alabama wide receiver Malik Benson told ESPN he has committed to the Ducks for his final season of eligibility.
Benson had 25 catches for 311 yards and a touchdown this past season at Florida State, his lone season with the Noles. At Alabama the previous season, Benson had 13 catches for 162 yards and a touchdown.
He began his collegiate career at Hutchinson Community College in his native Kansas, northwest of Wichita. From there he transferred to Alabama and then FSU.
Benson entered the portal on Dec. 23rd upon the NCAA’s ruling in the Diego Pavia-Vanderbilt case allowing extra eligibility for players who began their careers in the junior college ranks. Benson is choosing to use that eligibility at Oregon.
The Ducks also learned later Tuesday that Evan Stewart will also return to the program in 2025 instead of entering the NFL Draft. The transfer from Texas A&M missed the Rose Bowl game with back issues. Oregon also welcomes the addition of incoming freshman and five-star recruit Dakorien Moore from Duncanville, Tex., at the receiver position.
