Former Oregon State Beaver, Damien Martinez, Declares For NFL Draft

Current Miami Hurricane and former Oregon State Beaver running back, Damien Martinez, announced today that he is forgoing the rest of his collegiate career and will be entering the upcoming 2025 NFL draft.

Martinez had an up-and-down season with the Hurricanes, rushing for 1,002 yards after his huge 179-yard rushing performance in the Pop-Tarts Bowl against Iowa State. Martinez averaged 6.3 yards per rush and had 10 touchdowns. Before Miami, Martinez was the offensive Freshman of the year in the Pac-12 for Oregon State in 2022. That season, he rushed for 982 yards and 7 touchdowns.
