Oregon State men’s basketball lost to Nebraska 78-66 in the championship game of the Diamond Head Classic Championship in Hawaii on Christmas Day.
Oregon State previously topped Charleston 74-65 and Oakland 80-74 in overtime to earn a spot in the championship game. OSU trailed 34-32 to the Huskers at halftime and Nebraska pulled away further in the second half to win by a dozen.
The Beavers are 10-3 overall and open West Coast Conference play on Monday night hosting the Portland Pilots at Gill Coliseum.
