Dominant Second Half Gives Beavers Blowout Win Over Sac State 82-45

Oregon State was not comfortable with a ten point halftime lead on Tuesday night, and outscored Sacramento State 52-25 in the second half en route to a 82-45 victory at Gill Coliseum.
The Beavers are 8-2 overall and 8-1 at home this season.
Junior forward Michael Rataj led the way with 23 points on 8-for-12 shooting with 12 rebounds, 3 steals, an assist and a block.
Sophomore guard Liutauras Lelevicius had 12 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 assists. Lelevicius is a 6’7” Lithuanian wing in his first season in Corvallis.

Next, Oregon State heads to the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic in Honolulu. They open play there on Sunday Dec. 22nd against Charleston College at 12:00 p.m. on ESPN 2. OSU will play again on the 23rd and 24th regardless of Sunday’s result. Other teams in the bracket include Loyola Chicago, Oakland, Nebraska, Murray State, Charlotte, and Hawaii.
The Beavers first conference game in the West Coast Conference will follow on Mon. Dec. 30th hosting the Portland Pilots at 6:30 p.m.
