It was never in doubt Saturday for top-ranked Oregon as the Ducks throttled visiting Illinois 38-9 to improve to 8-0 overall and 5-0 in Big Ten play.

Quarterback Dillon Gabriel completed 18 of 26 pass attempts for 291 yards and collected four total touchdowns (three passing, one rushing). Gabriel’s 76.2% completion percentage is best in the nation among passers with at least 100 pass attempts.

Gabriel is the new betting favorite to win the Heisman Trophy with +260 odds on DraftKings, slightly ahead of Miami QB Cam Ward (+270), with Colorado two-way threat Travis Hunter (+330) and Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty (+400) next in line.

The Ducks head to Ann Arbor, Mich. on Saturday for a conference clash with the Michigan Wolverines (5-3, 3-2 Big Ten). DraftKings lists Oregon as a 15.5-pt road favorite. Kickoff at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
