Oregon State Wins Season-Opener 38-15 Over Idaho State

Trent Bray won his head coaching debut at his alma mater on Saturday as the Oregon State Beavers beat Idaho State 38-15 at Reser Stadium.

The 1-0 Beavers will visit San Diego State next week. The Aztecs won their season-opener on Saturday 45-14 over Texas A&M-Commerce.

OSU trailed 9-7 at the end of the first quarter but Anthony Hankerson’s 6-yard rushing score restored a 17-9 lead at halftime. The Beavers extended it to a 24-9 lead with a 55-yard touchdown strike from Gevani McCoy to David Wells Jr.

Jam Griffin added a 22-yard and 20-yard touchdown run in the second half to help seal the win for Oregon State.
